Our Twinkle LED Lightsources provide a uniquely calming yet engaging sensory experience.
Instead of using colour-changing LEDs, this lightsource projects a soft, natural white light that creates a gentle twinkling effect as it moves in a circular pattern. The result is a comforting and immersive display—ideal for helping individuals relax, especially those prone to high-stress situations.
When paired with our Coloured Fibre Optic Strands (sold separately), the twinkle effect becomes even more captivating. Light sparkles through the vibrant strands, offering not only visual stimulation but also tactile interaction, encouraging users to touch and explore.
Safe and practical, the Twinkle Lightsource is always cool to the touch, making it suitable for hard-to-reach areas where fibre optic strands can be safely positioned for enhanced play.
Compact in size at just 80mm x 170mm, it fits neatly into even the smallest spaces. For added flexibility, a battery-powered version is also available—perfect for portability and ensuring sensory stimulation can be enjoyed anywhere, anytime.

The strands which are available in either 1m, 2m or 3m are great for use when using the ‘brushing’ technique to calm a user or promote sensory tactile benefits. You can choose between a standard mains powered option or, for a more portable option, our battery powered Twinkle LED Lightsource’s are ideal for users who prefer to move into different spaces.

What voltage is the Lightsource?
12VAC or 12VDC Mains Powered, 7.2VDC Battery Powered.
How do I charge the battery Lightsource?
The battery Lightsource will come with a supplied charger. Plug the charger into a mains socket, before turning it on at the switch connect it to the Lightsource then press the mains switch. The battery charger will illuminate red to indicate charging. Once the Lightsource is fully charged the LED on the battery charger will turn green. PLEASE NOTE that the Lightsource will not work whilst being charged. We recommend charging for approximately 4 hours to be fully charged.
Can your Lightsource work with any fibre optic strands?
Yes, our Lightsource collar is 30mm in width. This is the standard size for fibre optic strands.
How long does the Battery Lightsource last?
The Battery Powered Lightsource will last around 4 hours.
Are fibre strands safe?
Yes, very safe! The strands are made of a phthalate-free plastic. They carry no heat or electricity.
Do I have to change any bulbs in this product?
No, as we use LED technology which lasts a lifetime.
How long is the power supply cable?
The Smaller Power supply used for LED products is 1.5M in length.
